Peterson Structural Engineers (PSE) is a structural engineering design and consulting firm committed to providing the highest quality engineering services.  PSE has a wide variety of structural engineering expertise that enables us to efficiently meet the needs of our clients.

Gary Peterson opened his office as a Consulting Structural Engineer in Portland, Oregon in 1967.  Thirty years later, PSE was incorporated in 1997 when Gary was joined by his son, Erik Peterson.  Travis McFeron became a principal in 2004 and PSE currently has eight employees, offering our clients over one hundred years of engineering education and experience.

In addition to offering our services in a local capacity, our firm is highly experienced in performing services using current electronic capabilities.  Many of our current clients have been generated from web-based contacts and are located in Texas, Ohio, New Hampshire, Florida and Massachusetts as well as other states.  We provide services via telephone and electronic transfer as seamlessly as with our local clients.

Peterson Structural Engineers continues to evolve and grow to meet the needs of our clientele.  Our commitment to keep abreast of technological advances and engineering trends allows us to provide the highest quality service in the changing world of design and construction.  We are currently licensed in Oregon, Washington, California, Idaho, Arizona, Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada, Massachusetts, Virginia and Georgia.
