Peterson Structural Engineers’ (PSE) Volunteer Time Off (VTO) program was in use at the Pacific Northwest District Championship hosted by FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology), a global robotics community promoting advanced STEM education for youth. Thomas Jefferson High School’s Raider Artificial Intelligence Division (RAID), FRC Team 4469, participated in the three-day competition with RAID alumni and PSE Staff Designer, Owen Anderson, EIT guiding students throughout the event. Owen assisted students in maintaining their robot, boosting team morale, and offering guidance on engineering and STEM education.

Thank you, Owen, for dedicating your time to a local, extracurricular club that strives to inspire and educate youth in STEM!
