The Fishtrap Creek Suspension Bridge project received the ACEC WA Engineering Excellence Best in State Gold Award for “Exceeding Owner/Client Expectations” during last month’s ceremonies. The “Mayors’ Bridge,” as it has affectionately become known, is part of the Jim Kaemingk Sr. Trail system in Lynden, Washington and was recognized for its unique combination of engineering excellence and community collaboration. Project Manager Elliot Morris, P.E., S.E. and Principal Bill Sandbo, P.E., S.E were in attendance to accept the award on behalf of the PSE team.

We are honored to be recognized amongst the other ACEC WA winners and extend our thanks the City of Lynden, WA, Reichhardt & Ebe Engineering, Inc., and the rest of the team who participated in a project that will bridge nature and the community for the forthcoming years.
