Waste Management Maintenance Building Damage Repair

A Waste Management CMU maintenance building header was damaged by site equipment during operations, which resulted in large cracks and spalls. This posed an immediate concern to determine if the damage was significant enough such that the building may have become unsafe to occupy. PSE completed an emergency site visit to review the damage and subsequently generated structural calculations and construction details for repair, addressing the client’s immediate needs while also providing a repair design allowing for resumed normal operations.
