Structural repairs have been completed for the hardscape structures surrounding UCSD’s Sumner Auditorium adjacent to Scripps Pier. Repairs included design of cantilevered ledges, steel handrails, and retaining walls, replacing cracked and spalling concrete along with outdated safety railing. Overall project improvements also included new drainage features and close coordination with the project team to aesthetically match existing conditions.
